This sheet supports the Year 6 Ace Author Genre Bundle (Michael Morpurgo). You can write or type the names of the children along the top row. Then, when the child takes one of the books on the list, write the date in and then tick it off when they have completed all of the tasks for that book.
This certificate supports the Year 6 Ace Author (Michael Morpurgo) Genre bundle. When the children have completed all of their tasks for the Genre, they receive this certificate.
This document supports - Year 5 - WRM - Spring Block 2 - Weeks 4-9 - Reasoning and Problem Solving.
Document comprises:
- A set of instructions for the teacher or teaching assistant
- 10 sets of cards - in groups of three - a bar model, an improper fraction and a mixed number for the pupils to sort and match up.
You should cut out and if possible, laminate the cards so that they can be re-used.
In this pack you will find worksheets for each of the objectives for Year 5/6 - Geometry—Position and Direction.
There is a 5 page document for the pupils to be printed off and used during revision. This comprises:
plotting points to make shapes and naming the shapes
finding points on a map and naming parts of a journey
translating shapes in four quadrants
reflecting shapes in the x axis
reflecting shapes in the y axis
This is followed by a 5 page answer document for the teacher to support your teaching.
I have made this to use in Booster sessions with my class, they then will keep this pack and any others that I make and will take them home over the Easter Holidays to revise from.
I hope that you find this pack useful. I work very hard to create resources without mistakes. If you do find a mistake, I ask that you please contact me, on Facebook or Twitter, before leaving negative feedback, and I will correct it immediately.
Thank you.
The Tiki Teacher.
For Year 6 children during revision for the SATs. 30 questions on Grammar and Punctuation (with answer grid for pupils and teacher) to print, laminate and place around the school buildings and grounds. The children then go out and find the questions, work out the answers and write the answers on their answer grid.
This grid has lots of uses.
Play the game with the question cards that I have included.
Use it as a place value grid and ask the children to state the value of the animal counter placed on the grid.
Make up to 5 digit numbers and ask the children to write them in digits and words.
Use it to illustrate what happens when we multiply by 10.
Varied Place Value work.
There is an instruction page, the place value grid, a set of 4 tasks, 2 of which are open-ended, a set of animal counters and the answers for the first 2 questions.
